Why you need travel Insurance?
It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. Travel Insurance offers peace of mind, as well as financial protection. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance to protect against unforeseen events that might prevent you from traveling or completing your trip. Currently Indus Travels has partnered with Trawick Insurance.

For American Travellers: 
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your tour arrangements. We offer two(2) types of insurance for American travellers residing in the U.S.A. You can pick these options once you are in the booking process. The insurance premiums options will be calculated automatically in accordance with your age, your trip cost and trip duration.

1. Pathway Premier

Plan highlights: 

  • Up to $100,000 of primary medical coverage
  • 100% of Trip Cancellation coverage up to $100,000
  • Trip Interruption - 150% of Trip Cost up to $150,000
  • Up to $2,000 in Trip Delay (6 Hours) coverage
  • 24/7 Travel Assistance included
  • Traveler Lounge Pass (if Flight is delayed more than 2 hours)
  • Pre-Existing Condition coverage if purchased on or prior to final payment
  • Optional Trip Cancellation for Any Reason, Trip Interruption for Any Reason, and Rental Car Damage coverage available

Available to U.S. residents traveling for up to 90 days within the United States and abroad

2. Pathway Essential 

Plan Highlights: 

  • Up to $25,000 of primary medical coverage
  • 100% of Trip Cancellation coverage up to $25,000
  • Trip Interruption - 100% of Trip Cost up to $25,000
  • Up to $600 in Trip Delay (12 Hours) coverage
  • 24/7 Travel Assistance included
  • Traveler Lounge Pass (if Flight is delayed more than 2 hours)
  • Available to U.S. residents traveling for up to 90 days within the United States and abroad

*Please note that insurance does not cover travel to Bali or Indonesia.

 

For Canadian Travellers: 
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your tour arrangements. We offer two(2) types of insurance for Canadian travellers residing in Canada. You can pick these options once you are in the booking process. The insurance premiums options will be calculated automatically in accordance with your age, your trip cost and trip duration. Please note that the following provinces are ineligible: New Brunswick (NB), The Northwest Territories (NT), Nunavut (NU), Prince Edward Island (PE), Quebec (QC),  and Yukon (YT)

1. True North Trip Protection Lite:

  • 100% of Trip Cancellation coverage up to $25,000
  • 100% of Trip Interruption coverage up to $25,000
  • Up to $2,000 in Trip Delay coverage
  • Unlimited Repatriation of Remains coverage
  • 24/7 Travel Assistance included

2. True North Trip Protection Plus:

Plan Highlights

  • 100% of Trip Cancellation coverage up to $25,000
  • 100% of Trip Interruption coverage up to $25,000
  • Up to $2,000 in Trip Delay coverage
  • Up to $5,000,000 Hospital & Medical coverage
  • Up to $1500 in Baggage & Personal Effects coverage
  • 24/7 Travel Assistance included

*Please note that insurance does not cover travel to Bali or Indonesia.

Pre-Departure Trip Cancellation coverage takes effect at 12:01 A.M. on the day after the date your plan payment and enrollment are received. All other coverage will take effect on the Effective Date of your Covered Trip as listed on your certificate. The policy documents are linked above for you to download. This email provides receipt of payment and acceptance of the refund/cancellation terms and conditions as listed in your policy. 

REFUND/CANCELLATION - this plan has a free look period where you may cancel the insurance and receive a refund of premium provided no claim has been filed and you have not left on your trip.

FREE LOOK PERIOD is 14 days except in the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, New York, Washington 10 day Free Look; Texas 15 day Free Look; Florida 21 day Free Look; Idaho, Indiana 30 day Free Look. After the Free Look period has expired the insured may cancel their policy ONLY if the Travel Supplier has cancelled the entire trip, the trip has not started, and no claims have been filled or intend to be filed for a pro-rata refund.
